There is a bus right outside the train station in como which can take you to Bellagio for 2.5 euro's!! from there you can look across the lake to switzerland and we got a day pass on the ferries and went round the lake towns all day for about 11 euro's. There also is a fast hydrofoil to como if you want to go there .
